How to restrict users from installing any Software without administrator Permission?

in this post I will share you How to restrict users from installing any Software without administrator Permission on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 OS.

You can restricted by various methods but in this post I will guide you easier way via Group Policy. No need third party softwares just follow simple steps.

Press Win + R open the Run and Type Gpedit.msc and press Enter

in the left side expand computer configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings

Right click on Software Restrictions Policies

choose new Software Restrictions Policy.

Configuration Restrictions Policies

Right Click Additional Rules in the left side New Path Rule Select. In the Path enter * to block all types of software installation.

Set Security level Disallowed

Now close the Group Policy Editor Window

Open Run and Type the command gpupdate /force to apply changes immediately.
